Once upon a time, Jordan and I walked into a new client meeting with a lovely bride, Lauren. In an instant, we knew we HAD to be her wedding photographers!!! Her vibrant and authentic personality drew us right in, and we left said meeting thinking, “Please oh please book us!!!” 😉 Fortunately for us, she did – and a few weeks ago we got to meet her second half, Joe. Joe is in the military, so we got the pleasure of squeezing in their Indianapolis engagement photography session while he was home for a short visit. (THANK YOU JOE for fitting this in – we know you have so much to do and so little time when you’re home!!)
Upon meeting Joe – my first thought was, “HOLY HAIR JOE – YOU ROCK!” Like, seriously? Can we all just take a moment to appreciate his perfectly coifed do? Okay good. 😉
Lauren did an awesome job picking out their sweet summer outfits. Lauren can clearly rock a pair of bellbottoms like it’s her job! I’ve been seeing big ol’ flare legs jeans making a comeback, and I have to say now that I’ve seen Lauren rock them, I’m totally on board! I believe Lauren got her’s at Express – so if you’re ready to hop on the flare leg jean trend – here ya go.
Here’s a peek at some of our favorites from their engagement session – we had so much fun on “Main Street USA” and soaking up some gorgeous evening light. We can’t wait to photograph this ridiculously photogenic duo in just a few months!!!
I was super excited to shoot in front of this amazing blue wall – and Joe’s shirt…well…it matched pretty perfectly!! Haha!! Too funny – we had to get a shot of him blending in!
